MedStar Health is offering a variety of CE conferences this Fall that provide an opportunity to gain knowledge of new treatments and techniques and network with leaders in the field through interactive case studies and presentations. Course Director: Leon Lai, MD The Council of the District of Columbia has approved Bill B21-0168 “LGBTQ Cultural Competency Continuing Education Amendment Act of 2015”. The law requires that two (2) credits of instruction pertinent to cultural competency or specialized clinical training that focuses on LGBTQIA patients must be included as part of the continuing education requirements for any license, registration, or certification.
